The Academic Journey of Aquatic Ecology IV and fishing, promoted by the graduate program in Aquatic Ecology and fishing (PPGEAP) took place on 11/4/2015, in the Basic Sector II Auditorium from the Federal University of Pará.
The event, which sought to discuss aspects of aquatic ecosystems, started at 8:30 (AM) with the presentation and reception of participants by Profa. Dr. Rossineide rock, Deputy Coordinator of PPGEAP. Soon after, the 8:45, the cycle of lectures, with Magna entitled: "Migratory Fish: a proxy for the integrated management of the basin" authored by Dr. Ronaldo Barthem; then, at 10:00, Prof. MSc. Alex Klautau (CEPNOR) presented: "marine research and conservation in the Ministry of environment"; continuing, the 11:00, the Teacher. Msca. Cristiane Castro (UFPA) presented: "ecology and conservation of turtles from the Board of Embaubal, the Xingu River". At 12:00, opened a gap of 2 hours for the participants of the event could have lunch and rest. The talks returned to 14:00 (PM), with the presentation of Prof. Dr. Marcelo Petracco (UFPA) entitled: "State of the art and secondary production of macrobenthos standards of beaches"; continuing the cycle of lectures at 15:00, Profa. Dr. Virag Venekey (UFPA) presented: "Meiofauna of the Amazon region: revealing the diversity and distribution patterns of this invisible sediment fauna"; soon after, the 16:00, the Teacher. Dr. Maria Nazareth (Bio-IDEFLOR) presented: "Oyster in Pará Mangroves"; ending the event at 17:00, Prof. MSc. Rafael Paiva (IESAM) presented: "Fishing and Mariculture populations: strategies to stop the processes of decline of fish stocks in the Amazonian coast".
